We meet at various restaurants in the Hythe and Folkestone area during the winter, and at village pubs and restaurants when the evenings are longer. Members receive an email advising them of the name of the venue, date, and full details of the address before each meeting. They reply, saying whether they would like to book a place. If the table is full, then a waiting list is prepared, just in case someone drops out.

The Local venues are almost always on a bus route. Recent restaurants have been to The Butt of Sherry, Hythe; The Harbour Inn, Folkestone; Mimosa, Sandgate and The Gatekeeper, Etchinghill.
