Our new membership year starts on the 1st April. To renew follow the instructions below. The annual subscription remains at £35. Your membership number will be on any of the emails/newsletters we have sent out to you. Please be aware, lapsed members cannot attend any groups or events.
RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
1 Online via our website and Beacon.
You need a membership account with Beacon. If you do not already have one, click “Register with Portal” below. Then click “Register for a membership account”. Follow the instructions on the page.
To renew: click “Online Renewal” below which takes you to the Beacon Members Portal.
Insert your email address and password for your Beacon membership account.
Click “Renew your membership” and follow the instructions.
When you reach the PayPal screen, you will have the choice of paying by PayPal, or debit/credit card. You do not need to join PayPal to make this payment, you can opt to pay by card.
Please tick the appropriate box if you are a UK taxpayer and wish to Gift Aid, even if you have done this on previous occasions - see below.
2 Online bank transfer - CAF Bank

Reference SUBS and your membership number.
3 Cheque
Make this payable to Shepway and District U3A on the reverse write SUBS and your membership number.
Post the cheque to the Membership Secretary (see below) or submit it at a Members' Meeting or Coffee Morning.
4 Cash/Card
Payment can be made at a Members' Meeting or Coffee Morning, where we often have a card machine available.
For Cash - please pop in an envelope and include the reference SUBS and your name and membership number.
Gift Aiding is an easy way to increase part of your subscription by 25% at no cost to yourself.
Gift Aid forms submitted in previous years remain valid, so please do not submit another. If you are a UK taxpayer, and have not previously added gift aid, or didn’t if you paid online and would like to add it now, please follow this link to download and complete the Gift Aid Form in PDF format or the Gift Aid Form in Word format then print it. Return the filled out form to the Membership Secretary.
