The Book Circle meets once a month, except in August when there is no meeting. During the year each member can choose a book for the group to read, and then lead a discussion on the book at the next meeting.  

We learn a little about the author, then talk about the plot, characters, style of writing, what worked and what didn't, and what we enjoyed or didn't enjoy.

 It's an excellent way to come out of our “comfort zone” and read new authors and different genres.

Please note that this Group is FULL and has been so for some months, so you may be on the waiting list for some time if you opt to apply here, as opposed to one of the other Groups at Shepway and District u3a that focus on book reading.
