We are a very informal and friendly group where the members research local history. Each member chooses a subject which they research during the month.

Recent topics have included smuggling, the architecture of Hythe High Street, origins of road names, in fact anything of local interest.

This is shared with the group at the meeting, and very often a lively discussion follows.
