The Group was started in April 2011 and has steadily grown and now has 18 members, which is the maximum we can accommodate.

We meet on a Tuesday morning 10.30 to 12.30 once a month in the winter and on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the summer.

We have a varied programme of events, including visits to local open gardens and garden centres. We recently visited two delightful NGS gardens in Postling, and we always plan a visit to a garden centre before Christmas.

Other meetings are held in members' gardens. We take it in turns to host and enjoy a morning exchanging plants and gardening ideas whilst chatting over coffee and cake or biscuits and strolling round the garden.

Our December meeting is a "bring and share" buffet lunch.

We share transport where possible, and members may offer money towards petrol.
