The course will cover the events that made the 14th century so important in the development of the English nation we recognise today:
- How England under Edward 3rd becomes the dominant force in Europe
- The rise of Parliament
- Social and economic conditions
- The Black Death
- The Peasants Revolt
- How people lived their lives
In doing so, the course will feature works of Geoffrey Chaucer and those of other authors of the time.
