Do you enjoy needlecrafts that can be done sitting in front of the TV?
If so, and if you also enjoy a good chat with friends, you may be interested in joining the Knit and Natter Group.
The idea of the group is exactly what it says it is - giving you the opportunity to knit, crochet, cross-stitch etc. If you can do it sitting on your sofa, why not do it with a group of like-minded friends, whilst having an opportunity to put your world to rights?
The initial venue will be the Hawkinge Community Centre, which has good parking facilities, and easy access to Hawkinge Village shops. Whether we can use one of the halls, depends on sufficient interest to cover the cost. However, if the group size is small, we can use the large reception area.
Note that there is free parking on site and refreshments are available from reception.
The venue is served by buses from Folkestone No 16 and No 73.
