The walks are normally between 5-7 miles and last 2-3 hours. They largely make use of footpaths starting at points within about 30 minutes drive from Folkestone/Hythe. The route usually involves stiles and may be muddy and uneven so care is required. Those who are interested normally retire to a pub at the end of the walk.
