Following the change in ownership, we have been asked to leave the Tin Tabernacle before 20 July 2026. This is so that the Shed organisation can move in there instead.  In turn, Shepway and District u3a have been offered the former Shed premises at 139 High Street.  

As a result, we shall be vacating the Tin Tabernacle and moving to the Shed over the weekend of 18/19 July. Most Groups that have been used to meeting in the Tin Tabernacle will, after this date, meet in the Shed.

This room, in the former Post Office building, is located on the north side of the High Street in Hythe, just beyond the traffic barrier at the junction with Douglas Avenue. A map of the location is shown below: click the diagonal arrow to expand to a full Google maps page.

A few of the larger Groups, or those with special requirements, will move elsewhere and details will be posted on this website as soon as details have been finalised with the Group Leaders concerned.

In addition, all Members' Meetings and Coffee Mornings formerly held in the Tin Tabernacle will move elsewhere. Again details will be posted for each of those Events on this website as soon as arrangements have been finalised.
